People living in India with little money to spend on a vehicle have another option now. Instead of fitting an entire family on a motorcycle or scooter, families may be able to afford a car.
Tata motors, of India, has released the Nano. The vehicle will sell for about $2,500 and allow those in developing countries to ride on four wheels.
You won't find many extras in the Nano, in fact there is no air conditioning, power steering, or power windows. The four-door five seater car, which goes on sale later this year has a 624cc engine in the rear. The Tata Nano has passed emission standards and would average about 50 miles to the gallon.
The Nano will allow for more safety and convenience as families travel. Company chairman, Ratan Tata said, "I observed families riding on two-wheelers - the father driving the scooter, his young kid standing in front of him, his wife seated behind him holding a little baby. i like the price and it is good for the inviroment because it dosent waste too much gas. But i dont like the design and it dosent go fast.
Yea the price is really cheap. I think it's better than riding a bike with 5 people on it. But this car has no air bags and made out with sheet metal and plastic, also it only go up to 43mph that's slow. It could be dangerous when they get in a car crush.
I think that this is a good idea for people who are living in India. This can be avery helpful thing in many ways. it will allow for families to go were ever they need to go. With this it means that less people have to walk to foraway places.I think that this is a good idea and it is a very helpful for people to have in India.
Another good thing is that the price is very cheep. In less it is not for people in India.
I think this is a really good idea because its going to make a big change for the people that could't afford a car. i think 2500$ is cheap in US, but it is really expensive in Indian, the worker in Indian have about 1$/days, they need to work about 6 year to have this car,this car is not safe, it not have airbag that so dangerous. and it is not easy to travel by the car in Indian.
UMM well I think that the price is good
This is a really great idea for the people who live in India. Because it is very helpful for people who can't afford cars. The Tato Nano's cars are very cheap and have good price. people can go everywhere with these cars and they can travel to other countries with the whole family. These cars are very useful for enviroment too, because they need less gas. The probability of obtaining the advantage of using these means of transportation is promising.
I think its good for the people in India to have a car like this cheap.I think in every part of the world a car is really useful for any emergency and its really good for these people to have a car loke this.

i think tihs little car is not comfortable, is tooooo small, there's not air conditioner, and is tooooo slow... hahaha!!! this car can't be for me because is not my style...hahaha!!!

I like The price of this car because is very cheaper. I think is better to have a car than a motorcycle, but is dangerous because this car has no air bags and can be really bad in accidents.

I think that 2,500 for that car is the best price anybody can put on a car like that. Anybody in other country's can now afford a car that cheap instead of buying those other car's for over 50,000 or 60,000 dollars. The car fits 4 or 5 people that's good, now families don't have to ride a bike or a scooter now they can all ride as family together.
I think that it is very practical for when you want to go to work or like places close to where you live. it is also good because it doesn't affect the environment on any way and the car is not that expensive. the only thing that is bad about it is that its for at least two people only and is not practical for a family.
I think that the price for these cars are good there like really cheap but it will help all those people that have difficulties with money!

Its a great idea for those people in Idia! Its very affordable to buy. I like it because its little and you could also fit a whole family of five. It mightbe a good idea as well here in The United States because the gas prices are very high! It say that the car could go up to 50miles a gallon! Thats like a little bit more then the average car in the United States!

If i were living in India, i would of bought this car. Its much better riding a car then a bike. Maybe peopple in India will start adding extra weight. I dont like that this car is slow, but good thing that you dont have to spend alot of money on gas.
I think this car is agood invention to protect the planet but I a lso think that this will not work in the usa because we're so used to having confortable style cars.
I think is cool but it has a ugly shape i think it should look better in pink and in diffrent shape but for people that dont have that much mony is ok because it dosen't need that much gas.
I think that it is a very werid car . How can you have a car with no air conditioning? it probaly has no heater either imgine when you go to your frezzing and yuo just want heat. I think it is a very good price though. I think it was a good ivention but idk its werid . I thunk its funny that when yuor really hot yuo have to use your hands to pull down the window.
i think everybody should get one of this cars because you will never find a new car with this price. Thats why i think people should keep their money and buy it......This car wont waste a lot of gas because its light and small, with this car you go around 60 milles per gallon so you can also save the atmosphere by not wasting too much gas.....
